Welcome to Wolter Rowlands Town Planning Group.

Wolter Rowlands is a multi-disciplinary consultancy offering integrated services in regional and town planning, development facilitation, urban design and project management.

Our Mission is to provide excellence, integrity, and innovation in town planning expertise for North Queensland and its surrounds.

This is achieved through our strategic objectives:

• provide expert town planning advice that is informed by insight and knowledge of the local context;
• deliver quality outcomes in a timely and efficient fashion;
• manage projects and development applications to minimise and mitigate adverse impacts on the environment, other project stakeholders and the interests of clients;
• demonstrate effective negotiation and project management skills and implement the best practice standards;
• excel in client satisfaction, and encourage client understanding of the planning process, risks, and opportunities;
• build upon relationships with local and state Government officers and stakeholders, and advocate the use of proven local expert consultancy teams; 
• promote and provide opportunity for the professional development of staff and colleagues, and encourage active participation in the North Queensland Branch of the Planning Institute of Australia, the Townsville Chamber of Commerce, and the Northern Region of the Urban Development Institute of Australia.
